If you suffer from asthma or other forms of COPD we have disease management programs that can be integrated into you’re daily living activities. These programs will help you recognize and control acute symptoms and explain the purpose of and importance of compliance with your medication regimen. Our COPD program utilizes different techniques to help make activities of daily living easier to perform. All of the therapies and programs we offer have been instrumental in helping our patients realize a greater potential in managing their activities of daily living. Our programs and therapies also minimize exacerbations of our patient's disease processes as well as their incidence of respiratory infection. In turn this has led to a dramatic decrease in overall in-hospital days and improved ability to perform activities of daily living.
Upon receipt of a prescription, our company will send a respiratory therapist to your home for an initial evaluation. Our therapist will work with you and your physician to determine what your needs are and how we may best assist you the patient in reaching your optimal rehab potential. Our therapist will evaluate your home environment and when necessary make recommendations to help improve overall safety and cleanliness. Initial instruction and reinstruction on your respiratory medication and equipment will also be provided.
