Pacific Respiratory Consultants is a home care respiratory service company, which was established in 2011. All respiratory therapists are California State licensed and insured. Aleksandra Sable, owner and President has been a practicing Respiratory Therapist since 2010.

Company Overview

Pacific Respiratory Consultants was formed to provide clinical Respiratory services in Southern California with the same business model as United Medical Consultants, Inc of South Florida. Nathan Winton, RRT, CEO began United Medical Consultants in 1988, for the express purpose of providing Chest Physiotherapy to patients suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. Today United Medical Consultants serves a large part of the South Florida Cystic Fibrosis community. The company's specially trained Respiratory Therapists are responsible for improving the longevity and quality of life for the patients it serves. Some of their adults are living well into their 40s with a quality of life never imagined. Three patients between the ages of 32 and 47 will be running a half marathon in March of 2011.

Nathan Winton and Aleksandra Sable, Registered Respiratory Therapist, along with Lena Barshak, a scientist who specialized in DNA research have come together to form Pacific Respiratory Consultants, Inc. Aleksandra has been additionally training with Nathan to develop the unique and effective technique for the administration of chest physiotherapy.

Our Respiratory Therapists specialize in a broad spectrum of Respiratory care. Modalities of care include:

Respiratory Therapy evaluation and Consultation
Instruction on the use care and cleaning of all types of Respiratory equipment including but not limited to Oxygen concentrators, CPAP, BIPAP devices, Suction equipment and Ventilators.
Chest Physiotherapy by specially trained Respiratory Therapist for patients who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, or recurring pneumonia.

Bios

Aleksandra Sable is a registered respiratory therapist. Her primary expertise and focus is in the area of pulmonary diseases, Cystic Fibrosis in particular, including adult and pediatric respiratory care and therapy. She has been additionally trained by Nathan Winton, who developed and perfected the manual chest physiotherapy and pulmonary drainage procedures and is an eminent practitioner in the field of Cystic Fibrosis. Aleksandra Sable's education in Medicine (M.S.) from Russia has uniquely positioned her to successfully apply her medical knowledge and skills to improve lives and well-being Cystic Fibrosis patients. Aleksandra in collaboration with Nathan Winton have opened Pacific Respiratory Consultants, a West Coast office of United Medical Consultants in San Diego, California. She is committed to all her patients, especially patients in most difficult of cases. She is happy to answer any questions her patients may have.

Lena Barshak has a Masters in Biochemistry/Chemistry with 25+ years of experience in research and development of pharmaceuticals, biologics and bio-pharmaceuticals. She has held progressively responsible positions from a start up environment to established Biotech and pharmaceutical companies in San Diego. She was also involved with the leading biomedical academic institution, University of California, San Diego. She has successfully filed IND for in-vitro diagnostic kit for detection of TB and antisense therapeutic for infectious diseases. She has successfully established several businesses in the past. Lena joined Pacific Respiratory Consultants, Inc. as Director of Marketing and Business Development.
