United Medical Consultants was established on november 8, 1988, and is a home care respiratory company whose main purpose is to provide the highest quality of respiratory care.
Our mission is to utilize experience and education to provide the highest quality of respiratory care that is cost effective and beneficial to the patient, patients family, and community.
United Medical Consultants provides services in Broward County, Palm Beach County and Miami Dade County, Florida.
United Medical Consultants, through its 25 independent contractors and 1.5 employees is capable of providing all aspects of respiratory care services.
Our Services
- Respiratory therapy evaluation and consultation
- Asthma / copd education
- Instruct on the administration of side arm nebulizer treatments
- Instruct on the administration of oxygen therapy
- Instruct on the use care and cleaning of cpap and bipap equipment
- Chest physiotherapy (CPT) - all therapists specially trained to treat people with cystic fibrosis, bronchieatasis, pneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis)
- Pulmonary function testing (done in the home)
- Pulmonary rehabilitation program
- Pulse oximetry ( spot checks and overnight with download )
- Tracheostomy tube and site care
- Ventilator maintenance
- All aspects of suctioning
- Inservices provided.
As CEO of United Medical Consultants, Nathan Winton has an Associate in Science degree in Respiratory Therapy and a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, and has been working as a respiratory therapist since 1981.
